How to set your Mobile Device lockout-time settings

iOS -iPhone, iPad
- Settings
- General
- Passcode Lock
- Enter your passcode
- Require Passcode After <N> min.
Android -note: These devices use a total of Sleep Time plus Screen Lock Time to reach the Maximum Timeout value.
- System Settings
- Display
- Sleep (specify when the screen will go dark, to save battery usage)
- back to System Settings
- Security & Screen Lock
- Automatically lock (number of minutes after Sleep - so available options will be limited based on Sleep value)
- Note: if you set the "Automatically lock" value to 15 minutes, and later raise the "Sleep" value, it will automatically adjust the "Automatically lock" so as not to exceed the maximum
