driveway of the Residence Hall parking lot were
completed. The contractor trenched an area under the
basketball court near the oak tree for the plumbing
piping and an area behind the basketball court for
electrical conduit.
The contractor laid CMU walls and ran electrical
conduit in the 1st Floor office areas of the
Resource Center. The contractor completed blocking

water bypass piping in the 2nd Floor pump room.
The renovations underway on the 8th Floor of the
Lions/LSU Clinic Building continue. The new wall
panels have been installed in the large conference
room. Crews painted the office areas and the soffit
and door in the lobby. The ductwork in the large
conference room was relocated. The contractor

conference room doors. The wood floors in the
Director’s Office and the small conference room were
installed. Workers began installing the ceiling
tiles in the large conference room.
The wood piles that will support the CEB covered
walkway were delivered to the 1542 parking lot. The
contractor surveyed the site to determine the
locations for the wood piles. Crews have been
driving the piles that will support the walkway and
its cover. 10 piles remain to be driven.
The contractor completed backfilling the trenches
for the new drain piping for the new patient parking
lot being constructed at the Dental School. They
graded the site in preparation for the installation
of the underground electrical wiring. Piles for the
3 new light poles were driven and the formwork for
the concrete light pole bases was constructed. They
trenched for the light pole electrical service,
installed the electrical service conduit and
backfilled the trenches. The contractor has begun
the overall site grading and continued hauling
