The contractor working at the Allied Health/Nursing Building provided temporary power for the security cameras at the loading dock. The 2nd walkway sliding glass door was installed and crews finished coring the 24 floor penetrations required for the 2nd Floor auditorium seating. Can light fixtures were installed in the new fur down in the walkway and sheetrock was installed in the 2nd Floor entryway. The new door frame for the entryway into the new switchgear room on the 2nd Floor was installed. The installation of the new medical gas manifold system on the 2nd Floor is progressing. The contractor started installing sheetrock in the 2nd Floor pump room and they painted the sprinkler pipes in the fire pump room.

Work on the permanent repairs and mitigation at the Student Residence Hall is nearing completion. The contractor finished installing the CMU block wall in the interior of the generator room on the 2nd level of the new building. The new fire pump was connected and disconnect boxes for the exhaust fan in the domestic water pump and fire pump rooms were installed. Fire caulking was installed in all three rooms on the 2nd level of the new elevated mechanical/electrical/plumbing structure. The contractor primed the sprinkler pipes on the 2nd level of the new building and the new fire pump room was painted. The lightning protection was installed on the roof of the new elevated structure. Interior dampers for the louvers on the 2nd Floor of the new elevated structure were installed and the motor starters for the exhaust fans were installed. Crews removed abandoned electrical conduits on the 1st Floor of the Residence Hall and a wall partition in the old fire pump room on the 1st Floor. Workers continue demolishing the old switch gear and electrical panels above the transformer vault.

The Resource Center contractor finished painting and installed door hardware on the 1st Floor exterior doors. Crews installed the shaft wall in the fire pump room. The doorframe and ceiling for the fire pump room were installed. The final broken post tension cable in the 2nd Floor electrical room was repaired. Workers continued to install the piping for the heating hot water pump manifold and to pipe in the fan coil unit in the pump room. The contractor insulated the heating hot water piping and began constructing the walls for the housekeeping closet in the fire pump room. Power for the new fire pump is being installed.

Workers backfilled the sewer line near the loading dock at the Clinical Education Building and backfilled around the transformer vault. The contractor relocated drainage pipes in the basement. Crews roughed in new electrical panels in Room 136 and began installing electrical wires on the 3rd Floor. The pile driving rig was erected and 24 of 110 wooden piles were driven in the Lakeside lot. The piles will support the foundation of the new elevated mechanical/electrical/plumbing structure that will house the building equipment located in the basement. The contractor continued welding and installing 8-inch chilled water lines, removing abandoned electrical conduits and erecting forms for the elevator shaft walls in the basement.

The project to upgrade the CSRB exhaust system continues. The contractor installed the new ceiling supports and the wire mesh for the plaster ceiling in the 1st Floor corridor. They applied four (4) coats of plaster on the ceiling, primed the plaster and began applying finish paint. Exit signs, fire sprinkler heads and light fixtures were installed in the 1st Floor corridor. Acid waste piping was roughed in on the 2nd Floor and the new duct riser for exhaust system #3 was pressure tested.

Work on the project to replace air handling units in the Dental Clinic and Administration Buildings is progressing. In the Clinic Building, the contractor installed 9 fixtures on the 8th Floor and ceiling grid in Room 8341. They also installed light fixtures on the 3rd Floor of the Clinic Building in Room 3347. The A-side riser was pressure tested. The contractor finished installing spiral ductwork for units 8A and 8D on the 8th Floor; making the final ductwork connections and sealing the connections. They tested all the spiral ductwork in the penthouse and 8th Floor of the Clinic Building. The ductwork passed and is now ready for insulation. All 13 VAVs have been installed. Crews started running heating hot water lines to the VAVs located near Room 8405.

The two remaining (old) AHUs in the penthouse of the Clinic Building were demolished. The asbestos contractor removed ductwork at the unit in the Clinic penthouse. The fresh air ductwork serving units 8A and 8D was demolished. The concrete pads for the last two new AHUs in the Clinic Building penthouse were put in place and AHUs 8A and 8D were set in place. The contractor installed supply ductwork for units 8A and 8D and the main branch lines for the 8th Floor reheat lines for unit 8D were run. Crews continued running heating hot water lines for the 8th Floor reheat lines for units 8A and 8D. They completed 3 of 4 tie-ins for unit 8A and started running the main chill water lines for 8A.

In the Administration Building, the contractor ran the chilled and heating hot water lines for AHUs L2A and L3A; 5 of the 12 VAVs have been tied in. Workers installed the spiral ductwork for L2A and all 14 VAVs for unit L2A have been installed. Crews continue running supply duct for AHU L3A. The spiral duct was run in the hallway between the stairwell and the 3rd Floor restrooms, and in the Bookstore. The contractor installed condensate drains for units L2A and L3A and installed fresh and return air ductwork in the 2nd Floor mechanical room.

The building exterior waterproofing contractor continued removing existing caulk, cleaning and preparing the joint surfaces, and installing new backer rod and caulk on the north, south and east sides of the Dental School Clinic Building and on the south side of the Administration Building. They applied sealant on the south side of the Clinic Building.

The electrical contractor finished installing contactors in the electrical panel at the Moss St. Entrance that serve the new parking lot lights installed in the Dental campus parking lots. They cleaned and graded along the fence line. The project is complete.

The contractor responsible for constructing the covered walkway between the CEB and the District Energy Garage finished installing the roof decking on canopy A at the end of the covered walkway closest to the District Energy Garage. They are now installing the roof decking on canopy B at the end of the covered walkway closest to the Clinical Education Building.
