continued installing the metal framing for the
auditorium wall panel system and conduit for the
audio/visual equipment in the auditorium is being
run.
Crews started installing metal panels underneath the
walkway.
The walkway floor drains were re-routed.
The contractor
finished welding the diesel fuel line on the 1st
Floor of the Resource Center. They welded the casing for the fuel line on
the 1st Floor and in the electrical rooms and
continued welding the casing in the electrical rooms
on the 2nd and 3rd Floors. The electrical disconnects for the domestic
water pump were mounted and connected and light
fixtures were installed in the 2nd Floor pump room. The contractor insulated piping in the 2nd
Floor pump room and began installing wiring for the
four heating water pumps on the mezzanine deck of
the pump room.
Concrete forms for
the freight elevator shaft wall in the basement of
the Clinical Education Building were erected. The contractor continued excavating for the
12 pile caps in the Lakeside lot. Concrete forms for 5 of the 12 pile caps were
erected and two additional pile caps are being
formed up. Rebar was installed in the concrete forms for
the first 3 pile caps. The contractor continued installing
electrical conduit on the 2nd and 3rd Floors while
other workers continued to weld and install 8 inch
chilled water lines in the basement.
The CSRB exhaust upgrade contractor pulled the
emergency power wires for the exhaust fans.
Light
fixtures were removed on the 2nd Floor and the
construction wall was relocated to encompass
additional ductwork. The plaster ceiling was removed and
insulation was removed from the old exhaust ductwork
on the 2nd Floor.
The old air handling units 3A and 6A were removed
from the Dental campus Clinic Building. Workers
continued installing new heating hot water lines for
units 3A and 3B. The supply ductwork for unit
3-B was installed and crews are insulating the
ductwork. The contractor continues to install supply
ductwork and the VAVs for unit 3-A. The
ductwork for units 3A and 3B was pressure tested.
Crews demolished the existing doorway in the
mechanical room for unit 6A.
The contractor placed the concrete pads for units 3A
and 6A and set the new AHUs in place. They set VAV boxes for unit 6A. The asbestos
contractor removed ductwork near Rooms 6313, 6405
and 6302 and completed the abatement related to AHU
6A. The contractor installed isolation valves
on all units on the B-riser in the Clinic Building.
The AHU replacement project contractor replaced the
breakers for unit L2A in the Dental campus
Administration Building and started up the unit.
The ceiling was replaced in the main hallway on the
2nd Floor. Workers framed and hung sheetrock on the
ceiling of the 2nd Floor Men’s restroom. Crews
floated and painted the sheetrock ceiling in the
restroom and near Faculty Practice on the 2nd Floor.
The asbestos contractor removed ductwork from the
4th Floor mechanical room. The contractor
started pre-fabricating the chilled water lines for
the 4th Floor units.
The waterproofing contractor working on the Dental
School campus buildings pressure washed the concrete
fins on the north side of Clinic Building. Workers continue to remove the old caulk and
backer rod, prepare the surfaces of the building
panels and install new caulk on the ground floor
