- The contractor has completed the final repairs to the switchgear at the Lion's/LSU Clinic Building. Building power was taken down, the switchgear cleaned and the newly refurbished main breaker was installed. Permanent building power is now restored to the building.
- The environmental remediation contractor completed the cleaning of the mechanical rooms on the 2nd through the 7th floors at the CSRB over the weekend. The contractor continues to clean the 4th floor of the MEB and the 1st floors of the MEB and the CSRB. They are also cleaning the air handlers on the 1st and 2nd floors of the MEB.
- The contractor responsible for the repairs to the emergency generators had two crews on site today; an electrical crew and a generator repair crew. The electrical crew examined the generators and recorded model numbers, etc. to facilitate the ordering of parts. The generator crew began working on the generator at the MEB.
- The elevator maintenance contractor began working on the #7 (Animal Care) and #8 (freight) elevator of MEB. Repair crews are also working on the 2nd freight elevator in the MEB; replacing the buffers. Crews are also replacing the governor cables on two of the passenger elevators in the building.
