NOTICE: On November 23rd and 24th, there will be multiple service outages to replace isolation valves in the chilled water and heating hot water systems, and to repair some steam valves and control air modifications.  The outages and effects have been summarized for each building.

Medical Education Building :  On Friday, November 23rd, beginning at 6:00 AM and lasting until 8:00 PM, there will be outages of chilled water, heating hot water, and steam.  This means that there will be no air conditioning in the building, no heat, and no hot water at the faucets.  Additionally, the autoclaves will not have steam and will not be able to operate.

Lion's/ LSU Clinics Building :  On Friday, November 23rd, beginning at 6:00 AM and lasting until 8:00 PM, there will be outages of chilled water, heating hot water, and control air.  This means that there will be no air conditioning in the building and no heat.  Additionally, the exhaust fans that serve the lower floors (floors 2-6) will not operate.  There are additional valves that need to be replaced in the chilled water lines.  This means that there will be another chilled water outage on Saturday, November 24th, beginning at 6:00 AM and ending by 4:00 PM.  This will result in no air conditioning in the Lion's/ LSU Clinics Building during that time, also.

Resource Center Building & Allied Health and Nursing Building :  On Friday, November 23rd, beginning at 6:00 AM and lasting until 8:00 PM, there will be outages of chilled water and heating hot water.  This means that there will be no air conditioning or heat in the buildings during this time.

Clinical Sciences Research Building :  On Friday, November 23rd, beginning at 6:00 AM and lasting until 8:00 PM, there will be outages of chilled water, heating hot water, and steam.  This means that there will be no air conditioning or heat in the building during this time.  Additionally, the autoclaves and cage wash equipment that use steam will not be operable during this time.

DAILY UPDATES

1542 Tulane Ave. :

• Stratos Elevator continues to remove the cab and platform for Elevator #7
• They are installing the new cab fixtures in Elevator #8.
• The insulation sub-contractor continues to insulate the steam system piping.
• Arc Mechanical installed differential pressure switches and gauges for the heating hot water pumps.
• Arc also mounted the fire pump motor and has capped the Entergy Steam Assembly.
• Zimmer-Eschette is removing the trash and building debris on Floors 1 and 8.
• They are setting-up for the duct cleaning on the 1st floor.

Dental School : 

• Landis continued to touch up the walls and fur downs in the 1^st Floor lobby of the Clinic Building.
• They completed the staining and corrective work on the installed doors. 
• There is one additional door on order.
• Landis continued to re-float the walls in the 2^nd Floor conference room in the Administration Building to eliminate the waviness in the finish.

Landscaping Project:

• Crews continued installing new plants on the S. Roman St. side of the Allied Health/Nursing Building.
