1542 Tulane Ave. :

  • The elevator contractor continues the repair work on Elevator #4. 
  • The general contractor continues patching walls, painting and working on punch list items on the 5th Floor.
    • The demolition of the third and fourth floor annex continues.
  • The contractor completed closing in one light well in the rear of the building.
    • They continue closing in another light well.
    • They are dry proofing the enclosures in the front and rear light wells.
  • LSUHSC Facility Services continues installing new fan coil units, installing locksets, and working on maintenance items throughout the building. 
    • Crews completed installing portable air conditioning units and continued making adjustments.
  • The terrazzo honing contractor continues honing the hallway on the 1st Floor.
  • The painting contractor continues refinishing the restroom stall and hallway doors throughout the building.

 

Downtown Perimeter Fencing Project:

  • The back gate on Poydras St. is completed.

 

Trash Compactors:

  • The new trash compactor for the Allied Health/Nursing Building was delivered.

 

Library Commons:

  • LSUHSC Facility Services continues the electrical rough-in at the Kiosk location.
  • Auxiliary Enterprises continues pulling network wires through the bulk head to feed the study area.

 

Lions/LSU Clinic Building Permanent Repairs and Mitigation:

  • The contractor continues installing door frames on the 7th Floor.
  • Crews are insulating and painting walls on the CSRB side of the 6th Floor.

 

MEB MDL #5 Renovations:

  • The contractor is making penetrations for the new plumbing.
  • The contractor is installing ceiling track.

 

MEB 2nd Floor Lobby Renovations:

  • The contractor continues to frame in the back wall in between the auditoriums where the digital signage is to be located.

 

MEB 4th Floor Ceiling Replacement:

  • The contractor has installed the wall angle in approximately 85% of the corridors and continues to install the ceiling grid.

 

Residence Hall Walkway Resurfacing:

  • The contractor began work on the punch list items, including drilling and correcting the weep holes for drainage, installing threshold at the double door entrance to the MEB, and cutting and filling the expansion joint where the walkway meets the building.

 

Residence Hall 2nd Floor Lobby Expansion:

  • The contractor continues to fabricate the steel.
