NOTICE:  On Monday, October 27th, Schindler Elevator Corporation will begin the upgrade process of the final elevator in the Medical Education Building ; Elevator #8, commonly referred to as the Animal Care Elevator.  Elevator #8 has two doors; a front and rear door and opens directly onto the loading dock.  We expect this elevator to be out of service for 12 weeks.

The MEB loading dock is the most active loading dock on campus.  Use of the #7 freight elevator should be for freight and carts only so that the loading dock can operate as effectively as possible.  This freight elevator shares its lobby with the #6 passenger elevator.  Passengers without carts should use one of the 5 passenger elevators in the building.  The #7 freight elevator is needed for shipping and receiving to move packages and for others to move their carts from floor to floor.
