The moving contractor completed moving Pathology to the 8th Floor last night. Faculty and staff members from Pathology, Neurology and Surgery spent much of their day unpacking.
Four passenger elevators and the freight were in service today.

The elevator contractor continued removing the protective film from Elevators 3 and 8.
The general contractor installed ceiling tiles in the 6th Floor lounge.
The network wiring contractor continued installing new data drops on the 6th Floor.
Facility Services continued making minor repairs on various floors.
DENTAL CAMPUS AUDITORIUMS A & B RENOVATIONS:
The general contractor floated the ceiling troughs in Auditorium B.
The mechanical contractor installed additional piping for the heating water supply and return lines of the new AHUs.
LIONS/LSU CLINIC PERMANENT REPAIRS AND MITIGATION:
The mechanical subcontractor continued insulating chill water lines, heating hot water lines, and supply lines on the 1st Floor.
They installed additional pipe for the medical air system on the 2nd Floor.
More of the ductwork installed on the south side of the 6th Floor was insulated.
The medical air and vacuum lines running to the lab on the east side of the 6th Floor were capped.
Plumbers shut off the domestic hot and cold water lines supplying the same lab.
They set and trimmed out plumbing fixtures in the rest rooms on the east side of the 6th Floor.
The electrical subcontractor ran conduit for Panel 2AC located on the 2nd Floor, east side.
Conduit for the riser to the switchgear on the 2nd Floor was run.
They installed dimmer switches on the south side of the 6th Floor.
Electricians disconnected the electrical lines outside of the lab on the 6th Floor.
They continued the installation of the wire for the roll up fire doors located on the north side of the 5th and 6th Floors.
The fireproofing subcontractor primed all welds (treads and handrails) on the exterior stairwell tower.
The contractor taped and floated the walls in the 6th Floor simulation rooms.
MEB 2ND FLOOR LOBBY RENOVATIONS:
The sprinkler subcontractor installed sprinkler pipe on the west side of the lobby.
MEB MDL 6 RENOVATIONS:
The contractor removed ceiling grids, existing casework, and lighting fixtures.
RESIDENCE HALL LOBBY EXPANSION:
The contractor began the installation of the vertical storefront frame for the expansion lobby.
MEB 6109 & 6148 RENOVATIONS
The contractor patched and touched up walls in both rooms.The project is nearing completion.
