NOTICE:
On Tuesday, June 30th, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, the Fire Marshal will inspect
the fire alarm system in both the Dental
School Administration
Building and Clinic Building .The fire alarm contractor will make an
announcement to let building occupants know that the alarms are being tested
and that evacuation will not be necessary during these tests.The contractor will then activate fire alarm
devices in the recently renovated auditoriums.This will activate the fire alarm strobes and audible alarms (speakers
and horns) throughout both buildings.When testing has concluded, an announcement will be made so that all
occupants will know that the testing is complete.Because not all areas of the buildings have
speakers, some occupants may not hear the announcements.
1542 TULANE AVE. :
The electrical contractor installed additional light fixtures in the 1st Floor restrooms and in Room 109E.
The furniture contractor set-up furniture in additional 2nd Floor offices along the center corridor.
The cleaning contractor cleaned offices in Suite 235 .
Facility Services made additional HVAC and electrical repairs on the 1st Floor.

HEALTH/NURSING RE-ROOFING PROJECT:
The contractor continued installing the sheet metal flashing along the Bolivar and Roman St. sides of the roof.
They applied a second coat of paint on the elevator penthouse.
The roof drain above Stairwell C was replaced.
LIBRARY
COMMONS:
The contractor continued installing the wall covering in the stairwell.
RESIDENCE
HALL 2nd FLOOR LOBBY RENOVATIONS:
The paint contractor painted the ceiling underneath the mezzanine between the A & B Towers and the soffit in the corner lobby of the A Tower.
The contractor installed ceiling grids in the recreation room.

AIR HANDLING UNIT REPLACEMENT:
Facility Services continues to monitor and adjust the C Quadrant, 6th and 7th floor temporary units.
The contractor continued installing controls for air handling units 6D and 7D, and ductwork, piping, and electrical for AHUs 6C and 7C.

2nd FLOOR LOBBY RENOVATIONS:
The contractor installed tile wall base.

MDL #3 RENOVATIONS:
The casework contractor continued installing the sink base cabinets and countertops with plumbing fixtures.
The contractor continued roughing in the natural gas piping and electrical for casework receptacles.
Crews installed flex ducts and HVAC grilles.
DENTAL SCHOOL
AUDITORIUMS A & B RENOVATIONS:
The contractor installed custom baseboard at the stairwell entrance and along the east and north walls of Auditorium B.
They installed double doors at the main entrance to Auditorium B.
The A/V contractor installed the 42 inch monitor in the A/V rack room 4202B.
