On Thursday, July 9th, from 5:00 AM to 6:00 AM there will be an emergency power
outage on the B quadrant (S. Roman
Street/Perdido Street quadrant) of the 7th floor
of the Medical Education Building .This means that there will be no power at any
emergency power receptacles in the B quadrant of the 7th floor.Later that morning, from 6:00 AM to 7:00 AM,
there will be another emergency power outage on the B quadrant of the 6th floor
of the Medical Education Building .During this time, there will be no power at
any emergency power receptacles in the B quadrant of the 6th floor.

1542 TULANE AVE. :
Facility Services continues to make various electrical repairs on the 2nd Floor.
Facility Services continues the installation of the sprinkler system on the Tulane Ave. side of the Roman St. Garage.
HEALTH/NURSING BLDG RE-ROOFING PROJECT:
The roofers installed the parapet wall cap along the Roman St. side of the roof.
The roofers installed PVC piping to drain the HVAC units on the penthouse.
CLINIC PERMANENT REPAIR AND MITIGATION:
The contractor continued pulling the network wires for the conference room along Gravier Street in the computer lounge.
The contractor began installing wallpaper on the center wall of the stairwell.
HALL 2nd FLOOR LOBBY RENOVATIONS:
The contractor continued installing the wavy ceiling tile in the expanded lobby area.
Crews continued finishing walls and roughing in light fixtures for the suspended ceiling in the recreation room.
AIR HANDLING UNIT REPLACEMENT:
Facility Services began shifting temporary AC units from the C quadrant on the 6th and 7th Floors to the B quadrant (corner of Perdido Street and South Roman Street ).
The contractor is working to complete the installation of piping, insulation, electrical and controls for AHU 6C.
MDL #3 RENOVATION:
The network contractor ran network wiring to the new the casework.
The A/V contractor installed the 65 inch LCD screens.
AUDITORIUMS A & B RENOVATIONS:
The A/V contractor set the podium in Auditorium B and pulled additional fiber optic cable from the rack room to both auditoriums.
