MONDAY, AUGUST 16, 2010ALLIED HEALTH/NURSING BLDG PERMANENT REPAIRS & MITIGATION: · The contractor completed removing the elevator shaft wall. · New valves were installed on the heating hot water lines and workers continued removing the old heating hot water lines. · Crews began removing the curtain wall on the 2nd Floor. RESIDENCE HALL PERMANENT REPAIRS & MITIGATION: · The contractor installed 4 additional precast panels on the 2nd Floor and roof level of the elevated enclosure. · 27 of the 40 panels have now been installed. RESOURCE CENTER PERMANENT REPAIRS & MITIGATION: · Workers continued to remove paint from the 1st Floor walls. · The contractor continued to torque the bus duct in the switchgear. · The granite thresholds for Elevators 3 and 4 were installed. · The contractor replaced broken granite panels on the exterior of the 1st Floor. DENTAL SCHOOL PATIENT PARKING LOT: · The contractor sloped and graded the area between the sidewalk and Florida Avenue and prepared the light pole concrete bases for paint. |
