3D Printing at Isché Library
The Isché Library has a 3D printing station available on the 3rd Floor of the Resource Center in the Library for medical education and research purposes. The 3D printing service is run with assistance from the LSUHSC-NO chapter of SLING Health.
- Policies
- All 3D prints are free of charge
- Users must fill out the 3D Printer Reservation Form
- Users must demonstrate basic competency of the 3D printer or participate in a 15 minute safety and operation tutorial led by Library staff
- All items printed must be related to medical education or research purposes
- Allow adequate time for the process; 3D prints take a considerable amount of time
to complete
