The Dental and Isché Libraries are now closed until January 3rd at 8 am.

Ische Library Closing @ 6

Reminder: Monday through Friday, December 19th -23rd, the Isché Library will close at 6 pm.

Dental Library – Winter Break Hours

The Dental Library will be open from 8 am to 5 pm on Wednesday and Thursday, December 21st and 22nd, and from 8 am to 4:30 pm on Friday, December 23rd. Regular hours (8 am to 8 pm) will be observed on Monday and Tuesday, December 19th and 20th.

Winter Break Hours – Isch?® Library

During the semester break (and before the University closes for Christmas/New Year’s) the Isché Library will have shortened hours.
Sunday, December 18th 11:30 am – 8 pm
Monday, December 19th through Friday, December 23rd 8 am – 6 pm.

Closed Saturday, December 24th – Monday, January 2nd.

Dental Library is Open!

The Dental Library has re-opened! The Library has been closed to the public since mid-August for HVAC & ceiling work.
The Dental Library hours are:
Sunday 11:30 am – 8 pm
Monday – Thursday 8 am – 8 pm
Friday 8 am – 5 pm
Saturday Closed

The Dental Library will re-open on Sunday, December 11th! The Dental Library hours will be:

Thanksgiving Holiday Hours

The Isch?® Library Thanksgiving Holiday Hours are as follows:

Tuesday, November 22nd 8 am – 10 pm
Wednesday, November 23rd 8 am – 6 pm
Thursday, November 24th CLOSED
Friday, November 25th CLOSED
Saturday, November 26th CLOSED

We will reopen on Sunday, November 27th 1:30 – 10 pm for Regular Hours.

The Dental Library remains closed for HVAC repairs.

Labor Day Hours

The Labor Day Holiday Hours for John P. Isch?® Library are as follows:

Friday, Septermber 2nd 8am-6pm Regular Hours
Saturday, September 3rd 9:30 am – 6 pm Regular Hours

Monday, September 5th CLOSED University Holiday

Effective Sunday, July 17, 2011, the LSU School of Dentistry Library hours will be:

Independence Day Hours

The John P. Isch?® Library will close Sunday, July 3rd and Monday, July 4th in observation of Independce Day, a scheduled University Holiday. The Dental Library will also be closed.

The Library will reopen on Tuesday July, 5th at 8am for standard hours of operations.

Easter Hours

The Isch?® Library will have special hours in observence of the Easter Holiday. They are as follows:

Thursday, April 21st 8 am to 8 pm
Friday, April 22nd CLOSED (University Holiday)

Sunday, April 24th CLOSED
Monday, April 25th 8 am to 10 pm Regular Hours

Happy Mardi Gras!

We know that in most of the United States, it’s just another Tuesday…but here in New Orleans, it’s Mardi Gras. The LSUHSC Libraries (and our entire campus) is closed today in celebration.

MLK, Jr Day Holiday

The LSUHSC Libraries (both Isché and Dental) will be closed on Monday, January 17th in observance of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Holiday. Both Libraries will be open regular hours, 1:30-10 pm, on Sunday, January 16th.

Dental Library – Winter Break Hours

The Dental Library will have reduced hours for Winter Break before closing from December 23rd through January 1st. The hours will be as follows:
Tuesday-Wednesday December 21st-22nd 8 am – 5 pm
Thursday, December 23rd through January 1st Closed

The Library will resume normal hours on January 2nd.

Ische Library – Winter Break Hours

The Isché Library will have reduced hours for Winter Break before closing from December 23rd through January 2nd. The hours will be as follows:
Monday-Wednesday December 20th-22nd 8 am – 6 pm
Thursday, December 23rd through January 2nd Closed

The Library will resume normal hours on January 3rd.
