Wireless Upgrade
The Wireless Network in the Isché Library and the Library Commons will upgraded tonight (Tuesday, September 21st) at 10 pm. The network will be unvailable for approximately 30-45 minutes.

ScienceDirect and Scopus, will be unavailable due to scheduled maintenance for approximately 9 hours (6:30am – 4:30pm) on Saturday, 28 August. During this time, upgrades will be implemented to these systems as part of the launch of the new SciVerse platform.

Since the water will be shut down in the Resource Center Building from 7 p.m. on Friday, April 23rd until 5 a.m. on Saturday, April 24th, the Library Commons will be closed during that time period as bathrooms will not be working.
Moodle will be down on campus from 11 p.m. this evening (Friday, Feb. 26th) until approximately mid-morning tomorrow (Saturday, Feb. 27th) for server maintenance. Please plan your use accordingly.
Currently we are unable to access all of our ScienceDirect titles. This also affects articles you might be attempting to access via PubMed’s LinkOut. We apologize for the inconvenience, but will update as soon as our access has been restored.
Science Direct titles should be working again. Please call the Library at 504-568-6100 if you experience problems.

Nursing journals we subscribe to through Ovid will be undergoing an upgrade today at 9AM. If you are in an OvidSP or Nursing@Ovid session at that time, your session will continue uninterrupted until you log out or your session times out.

EMBASE.com is being transitioned to it’s new version. Unfortunately during that transition (in the Netherlands), our subscription information seems to have been lost. Since Amersterdam has already started their weekend, access will probably not be reinstated until Monday.
We currently do not have access to AccessMedicine, AccessEmergencyMedicine and AccessSurgery. We are trying to solve the problem with McGraw Hill (the publisher of these tools). We hope to have this matter resolved today.

Baton Rouge has scheduled today for PayPaw system maintenance. All systems that use PayPaw (photocopiers, printing, vending machines, etc.) will have sporadic outages today.
Because of maintenance in RCB, ILLiad will be offline from 5 a.m. to 6:30 a.m. on Monday, February 16th.
We’ve just learned that the ILLiad (interlibrary loan service) emails have not been going through for th last week or so. We are working to correct this problem. And apologize for the inconvenience.

The Isché Library’s Internal Elevator will be taken out of service on Monday, December 22nd. It will be completely overhauled and will be put back in service sometime in January. The internal stairwell will be available for accessing the 4th & 5th floors. For patrons who are unable to use the stairs, check with the Circulation Desk staff for other options.
At the same time elevators #1 & 2 for the Resource Center will be taken out of service. So access to the Library will switch back to elevators #3 & 4 (closest to Tulane Ave).
The INNOPAC server will be rebooted at 9:30 a.m. this morning (Wednesday, September 17th). All services should be back up within a few minutes.
