Angela Johnson, MD, Professor of Clinical Medicine, Section Chief of Internal Medicine at LSU Health New Orleans School of Medicine’s Baton Rouge campus, has been elected Chair-Elect of the American College of Physicians (ACP) Board of Governors.
Dr. Johnson also serves as Associate Program Director for the LSU Health New Orleans Internal Medicine Residency in Baton Rouge. She earned a B.S. in Chemistry from Louisiana State University and her M.D. from LSU Health New Orleans School of Medicine. She is currently Governor of the Louisiana Chapter of the American College of Physicians. Dr. Johnson completed her residency at LSU Health New Orleans School of Medicine’s Baton Rouge Internal Medicine Residency Program, where she also served as a Chief Resident.
