Brian Boulmay, MD, Professor of Clinical Medicine at LSU Health New Orleans School of Medicine, has been appointed to the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) Medical Oncology Longitudinal Knowledge Assessment Approval Committee. He is one of five members of the Committee.
According to the ABIM, approval committees are responsible for approving all assessment content and maintaining the blueprints for Certification, Maintenance of Certification (MOC), and Longitudinal Knowledge Assessment (LKATM) in Internal Medicine and its subspecialties. As such, they play a crucial role in defining their respective disciplines.
