Positions:

• Police Officer 1 starting at $38,646. No experience or training is required.
• Police Officer 2 starting at $41,350. One year of experience in law enforcement work.
• Police Officer 3 starting at $44,241. Two years of experience in law enforcement work.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Must have attained twenty-first birthday at time of appointment.
• Must possess a valid Louisiana driver’s license at time of appointment.
• For some positions, evidence of POST certification must be submitted at the time of application.
• Must meet all requirements associated with carrying a firearm.
