About the Office of Institutional Effectiveness

The LSUHSC-NO Office of Institutional Effectiveness:

• Facilitates institutional accreditation with the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) and encourages ongoing compliance with the SACSCOC Principles of Accreditation
• Coordinates ongoing assessment of educational programs, general education competencies, student support services, and administrative units
• Provides process expertise in the approval of new academic programs and substantial changes to existing programs
• Provides support for program level accreditation and discipline specific accrediting bodies
