Consortium History

2021 - On December 14, 2021, stakeholders at 25 of Louisiana's higher education institutions met for the first time at a grassroots level to discuss the development of an organized group focused on the IPE needs in our state. 

2022 - On June 28, 2022, the Louisiana Board of Regents via the Health Works Commission agreed to egage the Louisiana Interprofessional Consortium as a collaborator.

2023 - On March 28, 2023, the Louisiana Interprofessional Consortium hosted its first statewide virtual IPE event engaging 478 students from 9 institutions and 9 programs.

2023 - On December 18, 2023, the Louisiana Interprofessional Consortium hosted its first professional development event engaging 32 participants from 14 institutions.
