Behavioral Sciences CenterOffers outpatient treatment, including evaluation, medication management and psychotherapy. Also offers academic and neuropsychological testing to determine the presence of attention, learning, or psychological disorders affecting the following areas: intelligence, academic performance, memory, attention and concentration, and psychological functioning. Campus Assistance Program (CAP)Offers problem assessment, short-term counseling, and community referral information, as well as a 24-hour crisis line for employees, faculty, staff and their immediate family members. Campus PoliceThe Campus Police are here to help you, and your safety and security is their primary goal. The Chief is available to consult with you about any potential safety issues. Additionally, they have police officers that have been trained specifically to deal with individuals who have been victims of domestic violence and other crimes. Department of Communication DisordersProvides comprehensive assessments, interventions and treatments in speech-language pathology and audiology. For more information call (504) 568-4348. |
Drug Testing ProgramThe types of urine drug tests conducted are Post Job Offer, Reasonable Suspicion/Cause, Periodic Monitoring/Aftercare, Post-Accident, and Random. Medical Review Officer services are part of LSUHSC-NO's drug testing program. For more information call (504) 568-8888. |

Wellness CenterOffers cardiovascular and strength-training equipment, free weights, group exercise classes, and individual fitness assessments. Amenities include locker rooms, shower facilities, saunas, wireless internet, lounge and snack bar area. Located on the 3rd and 4th floors of Stanislaus Hall.
