Borrowing Eligibility
Members of LSUHSC New Orleans - Academic
Circulation (borrowing) and electronic access privileges are extended to faculty, fellows, residents, staff, and students directly affiliated with the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center Academic Unit. An LSUHSC-Academic unit ID is necessary for materials to circulate. Off-Campus access to electronic materials is available. Gratis/Clinical faculty have full privileges.
Other health science professionals
Other health science professionals within the community may be allowed to borrow a
limited number of books; proof of licensure is required to obtain borrowing privileges.
Electronic access cannot be granted to non-LSUHSC Academic Unit personnel due to licensing
restrictions. LSUHSC hospital personnel are affiliated with the Health Care Services
Division which is a separate entity under the LSU Board of Supervisors. Please see
our visitor/guest page for more information.
Consortial agreements with other area universities are also honored for circulating material.
