Transferring SEVIS record to LSUHSC

F-1 or J-1 Students who are already enrolled/attending another SEVP approved school and have been unconditionally admitted to a program/course of study may obtain a new I-20/DS-2019 to continue/begin a new course of study at LSUHSC by requesting a transfer of their SEVIS record from their current school to LSUHSC.

If you are already in F-1 or J-1 Student status at an SEVP approved School and would like to Request Transfer of your F-1 or J-1 SEVIS record to LSUHSC-New Orleans, please complete the appropriate Transfer In Form for your status below and an International Student Application Kit and submit to your School with all required support documents.

ALL TRANSFER REQUESTS MUST BE SUBMITTED AT LEAST 30 DAYS PRIOR TO THE REQUESTED TRANSFER DATE!

J-1 Student Transfer In Form

Students who are already in the U.S. in a status other than F-1 or J-1 Student (H-4, F-2, J-2) who wish to obtain F-1 or J-1 Student status and have been unconditionally admitted to a program/course of study at LSUHSC must obtain appropriate documentation from LSUHSC (I-20 or DS-2019) and either travel and re-enter the U.S. in F-1 or J-1 status OR request a change of status or change of category from within the U.S.
